Ivy Liverpool – Restaurant

Our client requested three realistic ficus trees to rise from the centre of the room, running along an archway parallel to the entrance.

With the room’s ceiling towering over 9 meters, we faced the challenge of working in a listed building where no attachments to the ceiling were allowed. To overcome this, we devised a creative solution by running services through the fabricated trunks of the trees. This approach enabled us to install electrics for hanging globe lights, as well as run conduit for a router to service the dining area. Additionally, we discreetly integrated speaker cables into the branches and camouflaged the casings.

To enhance the atmosphere, we also provided a lighting supply to the top of the canopies, replicating moonlight and casting beautiful shadows through the trees.

Due to limited access, we built the trees in sections and carefully assembled them on-site, ensuring a seamless and impressive final result.
